Castle Rock Microwave is a turnkey, regional systems integrator headquartered in Colorado and serving the western United States. Our core focus is as a Secure Outdoor Wireless Systems Integrator. We specialize in a proprietary new customer development and delivery process to support communications systems for utility and public safety applications. Our clients are local governments, schools, water and electric utilities, and railroad companies. The full-cycle Account Executive is responsible for hunting, prospecting, and nurturing prospects at the top of the funnel, booking and delivering virtual and in-person (local prospects) presentations, attending appropriate events such as trade shows and conferences, and negotiating and closing deals for your pipeline. They are also responsible for working with our Solutions Architects (Sales Engineers) to specify the technical requirements for each customer during the sales process and providing a personalized and seamless post-sales project delivery transition with our Operations team.

This is not a sell-or-die position. We genuinely care about finding the right solutions for our customers, and it’s not always our solution. We are growing as a company because of this customer-first approach, and we expect all team members to embrace this mentality above all else.

 Requirements:

  • 8+ years of industry-related sales experience
  • Understanding of how to use a CRM system: HubSpot preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity and empathy

  • Identify and qualify key aspects of potential leads, including need, budget, time frame, and decision-making responsibility
  • Own and manage the entire sales process from Lead to Close
  • Sell solutions through our product offerings, along with recurring Life Cycle Service contracts
  • Build and win a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities that align with our Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) through outbound sales activities such as emails, phone calls, industry trade shows/conferences, in-person visits, etc.
  • Keep our CRM (Hubspot) up-to-date with details regarding your leads, deals, and customers
  • Work with our Solutions Architects (Sales Engineers) to deliver high caliber presentations to prospective customers that communicate our value and capabilities
  • Learn about the technology solutions we provide and communicate them effectively to your prospects
  • Leverage the value we add to maintain minimum margin thresholds and meet or exceed a sales quota each quarter
  • Lead the assessment of public RFPs for relevance and probability to close, and own and manage the internal process of responding to appropriate RFPs.
  • Assist with the handoff of new customer projects to our Operations team
  • Continue to nurture your customer base for new project upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Proactively scout for customer, employee, vendor, and channel partner referrals to add to CRM’s Trusted Partner Network
  • Interface with manufacturer sales reps and channel partners in a productive manner that helps create trust and increases deal flow
  • Provide regular feedback to Sales Manager and Marketing team regarding outbound activity effectiveness, ICP and buyer persona targeting, market and competitive intelligence, and general prospect conversations and responses.

  • Create quotes, review proposal budgets, project kickoffs, CRM updates, and other aspects of following our proprietary sales process
  • Creation and upkeep of customer records in our Sharepoint file repository

As an Office Manager/Accounting Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our small business, focusing on both office management and accounting functions. This role will also include administrative tasks to assist in the day-to-day operations of the organization, and provide support to the CEO.

Office Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls on the main phone line.
  • Organize and manage emails, ensuring timely responses.
  • Process and distribute daily mail
  • Enter data from source documents into accounting software.
  • Support sales team with creating customer proposals and obtaining quotes from vendors
  • Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Receive deliveries and check-in equipment upon arrival.
  • Assist with travel bookings for employees.
  • Maintain an orderly electronic filing system using SharePoint.
  • Support the CEO with tasks, email management, travel, and scheduling.
  • Assist in organizing company events and special projects.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Enter vendor invoices and analyze expense reports, reporting variances to management.
  • Verify and process vendor invoices, credits, and disbursements with proper approvals and PO matching.
  • Apply payments via various methods (ACH, check, credit card) accurately.
  • Record customer deposits in QuickBooks Online.
  • Perform audits and reconciliations for accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and schedule company checks, bill payments, and bank wires.
  • Reconcile vendor accounts through monthly statement reconciliation.
  • Maintain organized records of vendor invoices.
  • Reconcile bank statements for accuracy.
  • Review and reconcile employee credit card purchases.
  • Support month-end close processes.
  • Maintain and reconcile General Ledger balances and accounts using GAAP accounting principles.
  • Assist in setting up new accounts and addressing vendor inquiries.
  • File and maintain business licenses.
  • Assist with processing employee payroll, ensuring compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and labor laws.
  • Calculate accurate commissions for account managers.
  • Prepare monthly Sales, Use, and Excise Tax Reports for multiple states.
  • Backup for accounts receivable.
  • Generate financial reports for special projects and weekly profitability analysis.
  • Reconcile credit card payment reports on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Support HR tasks and assist the Executive Team.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end functions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business preferred.

3+ years' experience in Accounting using QuickBooks Online.

Proficient in PC computing skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Valid driver's license and transportation for necessary trips.
